Low back pain
Sudden or long-running. Usually a joint that stopped moving with muscle spasm guarding it. Examined first, adjusted second, and re-measured on the third visit.

Ten problems fill almost the whole appointment book. Find yours, read what it usually needs, and if it is not here call anyway — being told this is not the right office costs you nothing.
Sudden or long-running. Usually a joint that stopped moving with muscle spasm guarding it. Examined first, adjusted second, and re-measured on the third visit.
Pain travelling past the buttock into the leg, often with numbness. Traction comes before adjusting, and nerve testing is repeated at every visit.
Turning your head to reverse the car should not be an event. Gentle upper-neck work plus the two desk changes that stop it coming back next month.
Headaches that start at the base of the skull or behind one eye. Suboccipital and jaw work often changes these faster than the neck stiffness itself.
Stiffness that shows up two days later is normal and still worth documenting. Examination, treatment and the no-fault paperwork all happen in this office.
Burning between the blades or an ache that will not let you sleep on that side. Often a mid-back joint and a rib rather than the shoulder itself.
One-sided pain when climbing stairs or getting out of a car. The pelvis gets tested for movement before anyone blames the hip joint.
Six hours on a laptop, then an evening on a phone. Care plus a short list of changes to the chair, screen height and pillow — the changes do most of the work.
Pelvic and low-back care with side-lying positioning, comfortable into the third trimester and coordinated with whatever your obstetrician has advised.
Mostly a conversation and a look at how they stand and sit. Contact is very light and only used when something genuinely needs it.
Loss of bladder or bowel control, numbness through the saddle area, sudden weakness in a leg, fever with back pain, unexplained weight loss, or pain that started with a significant fall or crash. Those belong in an emergency room or your doctor's office first. Once you have been cleared we are glad to take over the mechanical part.
Half the calls to this office end with “that sounds like it will settle in a week, try this first.” The other half get an exam booked. Either way you find out in a few minutes instead of sitting on it for a month.
